I wrote a post on how to set a timer for windows shutdown by using DOS command couple of months ago. It works OK but there’s a problem associated to it. Even though I set ample margin between estimated time to complete download and the shutdown timer, it does not necessarily work the way it is expected. I know this feature becomes a standard in download manager softwares but I hate to have extra load on my PC.
Luckily there is Auto Shutdown, another useful Firefox plugin which provides a better solution. Install this small plugin and you are just a click away to turn this feature on.
